The Big Wipe

I think I’m finally ready to wipe my hard drive and start fresh.

It’s been about 2 1/2 years since I’ve done it last and the old laptop is getting pretty slow.  Overall my 5 1/2 year old Toshiba laptop itself has served me well (aside from a crippling hard drive crash).  I’ve just replaced the fan assembly and battery to the tune of $400 but it’s cheaper than buying a new laptop… something I simply cannot afford at this time.

So I’ve transferred all my documents, files, email and music to my server and I believe I’ve got all the install CDs and keys I need to get ‘er done.

I just hate wiping everything, re-installing and a week later scrambling to find something I forgot about.

Oh well, best just get to it and get it over with.

I Hate IE

Internet Explorer sucks…

It’s always been true and, unless something drastic changes at Microsoft, it will continue to suck.

I’ve been busy making a website for SunSwan for her Re-Jeans Purses.  She makes the purses out of ‘gently used’ (and not-so gently used) jeans.  She’s been busy at it and has made many purses already.  To her credit, they’re pretty funky.  The only public page is the home page for now @ www.sunswandesigns.com. But we’re getting off topic here…
